Bump version for focal?

Is this on time for bumping to 2.12 to focal? It's for long in Debian testing.

 2.9.0-2build1 release (universe) 2019-10-19
 2.12.1-2 proposed (universe) 2019-12-27

Apparently there is still some more testing required to confirm that the new version works well on Ubuntu to get it released.
