why is ubuntu 12.04 slower to load than 11.04?

when I boot it takes 12.04 over a minute to load - 11.10 was 10/20 seconds.

Could you give some more info please?

What type of machine are you using?

Also, check what programs you are loading at start. That may make it boot slower.

First though, please let us know the specs of the computer you are using.

It's a SONY Vaio VGN-TZ150N notebook and I haven't changed anything since upgrading.

Confirm it's slower than 11.10 and it's also in progress to make it speedy again.

Before reporting a bug install bootchart, pybootchartgui and attach the .png file.
Log files are in /var/log/bootchart
