enable BOINC on AMD-ATI-GPU

I tried to install the meta package "boinc-amd-opencl" on 12.04/amd64.
This has a dependency to "amd-libopencl1", which is not available in the repositories.
According to the package description this is a known issue to the 64-bit-version.

Is there any timetable when it will be available?

Alternatively the readme recommends installing the AMD-APP SDK from their developers page.
Ok, found it, installed manually, but still no amd-libopencl1 (and even if it were created, apt-get still wouldn't know).
So how to proceed from here?

Could try this PPA, or contact the maintainer to get advise.

The PPA only contains NVIDIA related parts, so I'm going to send a mail. Thanks for the quick answer!
