Bluetooth DUN & 13.10 timed out detecting details

I have Samsung SGH-A817 (solcetice 2). every time i try DUN over bluetooth, it gives me this: "error: timed out detecting phone details". Please help and keep it simple as possible, im new to linux.

Same here with a Samsung Galaxy S Plus.

But paradoxically, the fact that DUN networking cannot be configured is a very good thing.
In fact, Raring and Saucy have a very nasty kernel bug that makes the kernel crash on bluetooth DUN disconnection. The crash itself is a very bad one with the kernel data structures getting random corruptions that may lead to serious data loss.
As a conclusion it is very much better to have an extra bug preventing the BT DUN configuration than to have BT DUN and see the kernel crash and bring data away with it.
