Do you dual boot the OS?

If you run:

dmesg | grep -i blue; lsb_release -a; uname -a

Thanks

In windows device manager, disable the ability for the bluetooth to wake up the PC as well as disable power management. This is all done in device manager.

Seems there is a switch with 3 positions for wifi / bluetooth (Not sure as I don't own the system). If you switch that a little, is it ok?

Hello,

I have the same Bluetooth Device:

mpw@Server0:~$ lsusb |grep -i bluetooth
Bus 002 Device 007: ID 0cf3:3005 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR3011 Bluetooth

After a fresh reboot, it works for a couple of hours, then it has a heavy crash (even the vt switches) and the screen is full of kernel logs. The bluetooth is disabled then, and I can't reacitive it. It is always the same and easy reproducable by using a bluetooth device for a longer time. At least after 1-2 hours it crashes and can only be reactivated with a reboot.

sudo service bluetooth restart hangs completly. Killing the bluetoothd manually does not work anymore then.

Is there a way to disable the power management from linux side? I do not have windows at all, but I wouldn't need power management as it is a desktop system.

Bye
MPW
