Setting up PAN over bluetooth bluez 4+ ubuntu 10.04+

Trying to setup a bluetooth personal area network

Configuration:
Gateway(squid proxy server) connected to 3 other clients over bluetooth.

Steps taken/Guide:
http://bluez.sourceforge.net/contrib/HOWTO-PAN

Using: Ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx or higher / Bluez 4+

Issue: Followed the guide, but it did not work and could not troubleshoot.
Test scripts under bluez /usr/bin/bluez-test-network fails.

All other guides on the internet seems outdated, since BlueZ changes have renamed/moved reconfigured the way it uses configuration files.
