Asked by Sbn

I know the Bittorrent and Bittornado are both installed in my Feisty Fawn, but I cannot find them in the applications menu. As I don't know how to access programs from the terminal I have to ask...

In Gnome, Menu->Internet->GNOME BitTorrent

You can install bittornado with Synaptic Package Manager (or from a terminal or command prompt (ALT-F2) with a "sudo apt-get install bittornado" command).

Thanx, but I already checked that, and it's not there.

Ok so I solved the former question, but when I go "Applications-Internet-Bittornado Client" I get a window with my home folder saying "Choose .torrent file to use" and then I have no idea what to do from there, as I have no .torrent files in my home folder. All I want to do is download some stuff...

In the future please avoid adding questions to old questions, its much simpler to open a new one.
With bittornado you have to download a .torrent file before. Use your browser, locate the torrent you wish to join, and download the .torrent file (either you will be given an option, or right click on it and choose save/save as). You can also right click and choose Open with (and give the name of the client you want to use).

Ok I'll keep that in mind. Looks like I figured it out now. Have only used emule in the past, but I'm learning...
Thanks
