Why was bfilter removed from 9.10?

Asked by Ed Lebert

bfilter is a simply proxy / filtering application that goes great with google chrome. It was mysteriously removed from the karmic repositories prior to official release of 9.10.

You could try the jaunty debs (not sure how successful you'd be) or compile from source.

It was removed from the repositories because no one synced the latest version
in for karmic. (correct me if I am wrong here) You can always try as
actionparnship mentioned, get the debs for jaunty and then install them.
