How to disable specific completions?

Asked by Bert Wesarg

What is the recommended way of disabling completion provided by this package? The situation at hand is as follows:

I'm an old Unixer and still use the NEdit editor which has a client binary named 'nc'. It is well known that this conflicts with the short netcat binary 'nc'. Though I don't use netcat at all but NEdit all the time. But the provided autoload completion from this package assigns the 'nc' command always the completion for the netcat 'nc', though these are completely useless for the NEdit
nc', as this just needs file completion. As the completion is provided as one package, removing any netcat package does not resolve this issue.

Hope that this makes my situation clear.

TIA Bert
