Banshee not Recognizing iPod...

I am having problems getting Banshee to recognize my iPod like Rhythymbox does. Does anyone know a SIMPLIFIED way in which to do so? I would really appreciate it.

This may be an old wiki, but should work with the repo version of banshee: http://wiki.banshee-project.org/Troubleshooting/iPod
