cd player not being recognized when using Banshee

                 Hi all,

                                Got a bit of a problem here and hoping I can get someone's expertise on this...I've been ripping my CD collections for the last 2 days and not sure what happened to my CD player...I insert CDs and Banshee is not recognizing them....
Any help would be appreciated.....

Ubuntu 11.10
AMD 64
HP Pavilion Elite m9402f PC

The system see the CD? Other CD works with banshee?

Nope....It's not reading anything that I put in there....

Do you see the CD in folder /media ?

Thanks everyone but it was "user" error I guess....There was a problem with the CD which I was using...
