How to play music files with WMA extension using Banshee media player

Hi, I installed Ubuntu 11.10 recently and got Banshee as default music player. But I am not able to play WMA extension files with Banshee. How can I get plugin to play WMA files in Banshee?

I also installed clementine, but faced same problem. Please let me know how to get plugin of WMA files for clementine als.

Install ubuntu-restricted-extras

also add the medibuntu repo and install w32codecs (I assume 32bit OS, otherwise install w64codecs). Also install gnome-mplayer and vlc

If the music you want to play is a DRM protected .wma file, it can only be played in Windows Media Player.

If it is not DRM protected, then install medibuntu repo , w32codecs and vlc.
