Where are your music, videos, or photos right now? (That is, what or where are you trying to import them from?)

What application are you in when you press import?

In Nautilus (the file browser), click on the Places menu (in the menu bar), find the entry for your Windows drive, and click on it. That will automatically mount the drive so that it is accessible in Ubuntu. Then you can find it in Banshee. If you don't see it immediately, look inside /media. (/media is in the same place as /usr, /mnt, /home, and several other folders.)

If you don't know how to open a Nautilus window, one way always works (though it is obviously not ideal): Press Alt+F2 and type in "nautilus" (without the quotes) and press enter.

If you have a Nautilus window open but no Places menu, then you should be able to find your places (including all accessible partitions on all attached drives) in the Go menu.

Can you help with this problem?
