Asked by bobzr

I didn't find any way to change password for an encrypted profile. Is it possible at all or do I need to create a new profile?

You can change the password with

encfsctl passwd /path/to/backup

Where /path/to/backup is the same as in Settings under 'Where to save snapshots'. After changing the password with encfsctl you need to change it in Settings dialog, too.

Thanks, that solved the problem. But I do hope that a simple way to change password will be implemented in future releases, inside the BIT GUI.
Thanks for the best backup software!
