Automatic backup

Asked by phoenix

Dear Support!

I need help with automatic backup. I just set to backup one folder every day at 8, 12 and 17 o' clock. But on the next day after 8 o' clock I didn't find anything backed up. Manual backup work with the same settings of the same folder.

What should I do?

Many Thanks!

If there was no changes BackInTime (by default) will not create a new snapshot. Additional to Andrews requests above please post the part of you /var/log/syslog at the time you expected BIT to take a new snapshot.

You are using Debian, not Ubuntu. I suggest you post on the Debian forum here:
http://forums.debian.net/

Your distribution isn't supported here.

Thanks
