i need to turn on a tcp listen port. help

Installation wizard for vuze tells me that listen port 21198 is closed. ow do I open it.

Then you will need to forward the port in the routers config. You will need the manual as the configuration for this varys wildly so I cannot tell you how to set this up. You may find guides online etc. Set the system you are using to use a STATIC IP so that DHCP lease expiration does not cause issues. You will then forward TCP connections on port 21198 to the system you desire.

The test said the port was closd due to the nature of NAT (performed by your router). There was no allow rule for the port so connections were simply dropped.
