To access the Help pages for Audacity you have to click on Help.
What exactly are you having a problem with?

If you're just trying to get into the program, look under "Applications->Sound & Video" and see if it isn't listed in the menu.

If it doesn't open when you click on it, I'm betting it doesn't work for your system. Try opening a terminal (under applications->accessories) and typing audacity in that. If it finds it, but can't open it, at least you will see the errors listed.

Audacity never worked for me. I use Banshee to play CD's, but don't know if it will import albums for you.

I was able to find and open audacity from the terminal. Looks operational. Thanks
