Can I play an .ape file with my Rhythmbox??? Do I need a plugin?? Where do I found it??

Hello
looks like this site has ubuntu packages for monkey's audio
http://morgoth.free.fr/ubports
As an alternative to rythmbox try audacious instead
Packages you would be looking for are:
audacious audacious-mac libmac2 monkeys-audio
Install these and you'll be playing those APE files in no time!

help I am new to ubuntu but I am unable to find the packages that you mentioned the site shows them but when I go to download it gives me a bad call anybody know where there is another site or how to fix this site.

orbiter100, go to Applications > Add/Remove... and search for "audacious". check it and click on "Apply Changes".
