[Maverick Beta] Cannot use Audacious 2.4.0 with the Gtk User Interface

Asked by Detlef Lechner

Binary package hint: audacious

When I first called the Audacious program clicking the menu item Applications > Sound & Video > Audacious, I obtained a skin similar to that shown in http://audacious-media-player.org/ . I clicked on its menu item View > <forgot>. The »Default skin« appeared (see http://audacious-media-player.org/screenshots top picture).
Since this time I cannot get back Audacious in its Gtk User Interface (skin). I quit the Audacious program and clicked again on its menu item. I purged the DEB program package »audacious« and re-installed it. It did not help. I do not know what command-line command can bring back the Gtk User Interface (skin). Neither the audacious2 manpage nor '~$ audacious2 --help-all' are sufficiently detailed to tell me how I can bring back the Gtk User Interface (skin).

Click on the left top of the main window. You will get a menu. There you can go to View -> Interface to change the interface back to the previous one.

In German:
Links oben im Haupfenster auf das kleine Audacious Icon klicken. Im nun aufpoppenden Menu Ansicht -> Interface -> GTK Interface auswählen.
