cant copy dvd"s

I am trying to make a copy of a movie with brasero. I am told to reinstall the following manually "libdvdcss.so.2 (library). I attempted to do that in the terminal but i get an error message, " broken packages" if I remember right. In brasero plugins the "dvdcss" is greyed out and cant be check marked. I am a newbie and have searched for answers only to become more clueless and confused. . I apologize if i am going about this in the wrong way. Any advice will be appreciated.

For diagnostic purposes please proceed as follows:

Open a terminal window (e.g. by simultaneously pressing ctrl-alt-t) and issue the following commands:

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo dpkg --audit
apt-cache policy libdvdread4 libdvdread7 libdvd-pkg libdvdnav4 gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly

then copy/paste the output into this question document that we can check.
