Unable to launch Ubuntu after click from Grub menu

Asked by Rupam Chatterjee

Several time it took me to command line and ask for "press Enter for maintenance && press Cont D to continue"
Error showing: Package problem
If any how entered to Grub Menu, after clicked Ubuntu, it started until the name of Ubuntu, and again it took me to command line, even after pressed "Cont D" to continue. Unable to launch Ubuntu.

Several time I send " error report", but didn't get any suggestions in my mail box.
Right now sending this mail by my phone, as unable to use my pc

Eagerly waiting for reply, please help

1. In the grub menu the mouse is not active, thus "click from Grub menu" doesn't do anything. The grub menu requires using the keyboard. (Or did you refer to pressing a key when mentioning "click"?)

2. What happens when you select "recovery mode - root command prompt" from the grub menu? Does this lead to a working command line interface?

3. Have you tried selecting "recovery mode - repeair broken packages" from the grub menu, and what is the effect of selecting that option?
