My ubuntu 14.04 theme Mac OS X keeps on typing brackets "]]]]]]]]" how do I get rid of it?

Every time I open my laptop, before typing the password it types by itself some brackets, sometimes it takes time to stop, I keep on deleting but it types back. I'm sure the problem is not on my keyboard since the "]" and so as any other keys are broken, that's why I'm using onscreen keyboard. How do I fix this? Pls. help.

Does the system have a make and model?
If you are using a USB or wireless keyboard, does it have a make and model?
