Quantal is EOL (end of life) and is no longer supported. What you are doing is like posting on a Windows forun:

"HI I cannot update my Windows 2000 system. Please help"

I suggest you wipe Quantal off the system and do a clean install of Trusty (Ubuntu 14.04). Trusty is LTS (Long term supported) and is EOL in April 2019. You will also be able to upgrade to Xenial (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) as LTS to LTS upgrades are supported.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask RAMACHANDRA for more information if necessary.
