Bharath
Your question was answered by Manfred Hampl. I have copied the answer below.
If you look at https:/
https:/
The above site will show Ubuntu releases, and their EOL (end of life). At releases EOL, all support stops. You will not be able to download anything. I agree with Manfred, 14.04 would be best for you. We are trying to help, but until you get 12.10 off, nothing can be done.
Back up everything that is important to you. Download Ubuntu 14.04 ISO, and install. See site below.
http://
Be sure to choose 32bit or 64bit, whichever matches your computer. The site will explain how to use a DVD or a USB drive. Ubuntu 15.04 is probably not what you need, EOL January 2016 (four months). Ubuntu 14.04 EOL is April 17, 2019 (three years seven months). You said you were trying to download Wine, same thing, it is gone. Upgrading would not be a good idea. You would upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04. Next from 13.04 to 13.10. Next from 13.10 to 14.04.
