Please try the instructions here:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/91543/apt-get-update-fails-to-fetch-files-temporary-failure-resolving-error

Please also send us the Terminal output of this command:

ping 8.8.8.8

Your Terminal output shows this interesting line:

Support status summary of 'helloworld.dyndns.org':

Maybe you have a DNS issue related to helloworld.dyndns.org....

If DNS resolution is not working, you would get the issue described above.

That is why I need to see the output of this command:

ping 8.8.8.8 ; cat /etc/resolv.conf

Run this command:

gksudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf

Using the gedit editor, remove everything in the /etc/resolv.conf file and only put the following line in the file:

nameserver 8.8.8.8

Save the change to the /etc/resolv.conf file.

Reboot and retest.

Hopefully this change will solve your DNS resolution issue.

More info about this is here:

try:

echo "nameserver 8.8.8.8" | sudo tee -a /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head

Reboot to test. Resolv.conf is generated at boot. The command will make the changes stick.

Can you help with this problem?
