E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list (dist parse) How can i fix this??

i tried to install google chrome through the terminal, and i think i have messed up the source list. i have pulled up the source list but i dont know how to fix it... any suggestions?

You can dress

simply removing the file

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list

or better please copy and paste here the content of the file to check the errors in it:

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list

Would be better if you give the full list

find /etc/apt -name '*.list' -exec bash -c 'echo -e "\n$1\n"; cat -n "$1"' _ '{}' \;
