http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/dists/

The PPA doesn't support Quantal. Not all PPAs support all releases. You should remove the PPA.

use gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list in a terminal, and then find the line that refers to the ppa and remove it. Then run sudo apt-get update from terminal and update manager etc should work

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/team-xbmc-ppa-quantal.list
sudo apt-get update
