Yes, I am replying using my Shaw mail handler - can't seem to get Thunderbird mail handler to
be properly configured. I thought I mentioned I had web access in my question.
I might add that I started the update yesterday evening - was about 400+ MG to download
and the downloading carried on for some time and then quit - saying to check my internet
connection and with details as I enclosed - there was only about 4.7? MG still to download.
I tried again several times but no continuation of the downloading.
I considered that possibly the server had got too busy so quit for the evening. When I got
around to doing it again today -- the same message, so asked the question.
Presumably the server is OK. Will try again to continue the update as soon as I finish this
message. If it works will let you know. Doesn't! Same message!

I have just tried these addresses and I can't access them either. How long this been a problem?

It could be that the server is down for some reason. If you open Software Centre and select edit and select "Software Sources" where is it set to download from?

If you change it to somewhere else does it work now. Please reply even if changing the software source fixes it as we need to know if one of the mirrors is down.

The mesa package version that you try to download 8.0.3+8.0.2-0ubuntu3.2 is no more the current one, it has meanwhile been replaced by 8.0.4-0ubuntu0.1

You should reload the package sources and try again.
Do that either from one of the package management programs (software.centerm update-manager, synaptic) or with the following commands from a terminal (ctrl-alt-t):

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
