Problem in Software installation in Ubuntu 10.04

Asked by Triyambakesh

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx (Linux 2.6.32-24 Generic). Recently, am finding difficulties in installation of softwares from Ubuntu software center with a message being displayed “Requires installation of Untrust Package”- (The action would require the installation of packages from non authenticated sources). Anything, I would like to install, does'nt gets installed. Example- Empathy, Pidgin, Google Earth, Google talk plugin, etc. There was no problem a day before. Please Help me.

Thanks for the kind advice Marco, but I upgraded my OS from Ubuntu 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10 last night. Well after this, the problem of installation is solved.

Thankyou.
