How to create repository in server for updates?

Hello team,

I want to know that I have 1 Ubuntu 11.10 server. I want to create repository in this server using DVD. So how can i create repository for any users who should get updates using this server? Please inform to me. And another thing is that how can I create repository using all ".deb" files?

See official manual at https://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~bloch/acng/ . It actually depends on what you want

a) to put your .debs into the cache alongside with other contents, use the Import function.

Or b), to setup a stand-alone repository, use any regular web server. If you wish to have a "web server view" inside of apt-cacher-ng on some certain directory (i.e. where you store your DVD's contents), you can use the LocalDirs config option (only available with recent versions of acng).
