You can use "apport-cli" to report problems from the command line.

Cool, are there any more apport commands, such as to change any settings if there are any?

You can find out whether there are similarly named executables in your system path by partially entering a word and pressing the Tab key twice. In the case of Apport, there's apport-cli and apport-unpack by default. To learn more about them, enter "man apport-cli" and "man apport-unpack". You can also separately install apport-retrace.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport may also help.
