Natty doesn't start anymore after normally shutting down

Asked by Jan Schürmann

unfortunately i don't know how to file a bug for Ubuntu Natty, i'm always redirected to the HowTo Documentation.
i'm reporting bugs for about 2 years and don't know how to use apport for reporting a boot failure?!?

so my question is how can i report a bug if my system doesn't start anymore?!
i've all the log files but don't know how to share if i can't file the bug!

Simply use the launchpad bug reporting system and made a report manually...

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Filing bugs at Launchpad.net

But before to send bug report please open a question about your issue please describe details of your pc into new question.

thanks for your answer, which doesn't answer my question, because reporting a bug for Ubuntu Natty in general always redirects me to the howto, so i CAN'T report the bug.

i've "solved" the bug for me by making a fresh install of Natty on my machine...after 3 years of only upgrading Ubuntu it was time to make it fresh ;-)
