What is the status of apparmor-sandbox

What is the current status of apparmor-sandbox (https://code.launchpad.net/~jdstrand/+junk/apparmor-sandbox). Can it already considered being stable? When is it planned to be shipped with ubuntu?

If it's not stable and will not be shipped in the near future, is there any good alternative available today?
