www folder disappeared after upgrade

My www folder disappeared after I upgraded from 10.10 to 12.04. While upgrading, it was indicated that I would retain all my data.... Is there a way of recovering my lost projects :(

Did you upgrade to 11.04 and then to 11.10 then to 12.04 or did you go directly from Maverick to 12.04?

I upgraded directly from 10.10 to 12.04.

Then that's probably why. To get from 10.10 to 12.04 you needed to first upgrade to 11.04 then to 11.10 then finally to 12.04. The ONLY time you can leapfrog releases is if it is LTS to LTS so 10.04 to 12.04 is ok.

I suggest you reinstall
