https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=55219 Affects Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

Asked by Enrico

Hi there,

I just run into this PHP bug: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=55219

I'm running the latest LAMP stack on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit and using the test code mentioned on the above PHP bug, I can reproduce the issue.

Currently I keep on getting on Apache's error log messages like:
[Wed Feb 15 11:02:42 2012] [notice] child pid 25905 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Is there any plan to fix this bug?
How does the Ubuntu process work? Do you wait for PHP to fix it and then apply the fix to Ubuntu's packages?

What's the best way to work around this issue (if any?).

Thanks

I suggest you post on the bug itself.
