How can I submit a patch for bug 237303

Hello,

I have reported bug 237303 and I also have a patch available which works very well for me.
How can I get it into the distribution?
I have read about MOTUs, mentors and membership hierarchies where submitting a patch appears as a highly complicated process.
Can you tell me what exactly I have to do in order to submit my patch?

Feel free to attach your patch as an attachment for that bug.
