open files from amsn

My friend want to send me photos via amsn, however once i download the file 100% file transfer screen comes up three buttons, open, open directory and close.
when i click open a window appears saying, "Please check the open file command in the preferences window" i have looked for this but cant find it.
Could you tell me were it is, or how i can open the files

Hello,

the files should be saved in /home/yourusername/amsn_received by default. You will find the open file command by pressing Ctrl-P in the amsn main window. The easy way is to click on the file in /home/yourusername/amsn_received, the hard way to figure out whats the correct statement in the open file field. Sorry i am not really familiar with amsn.
