Amarok Handbook Missing

Asked by Lawrence

When I go to help in Amarok, and to Amarok Handbook, it says,
The file or folder help:/amarok/index.html does not exist.

How can I download and include this file? The thing is that I need help, and do not have easy access to internet, so need a help manual for Amarok that is not internet based.

The other thing, is that Amarok doese not play any of my music still!!! Why? It just shows it in the play list, and then you press play, and it looks like it is loading it, and then doesnt play.

Pleaes help, thanks.

In Amarok, I press F1, or go to the Help drop-down menu and press "Amarok
Handbook" and get an error popup:
The file or folder help:/amarok/index.html does not exist.

Because there isn't an amarok2 handbook written yet. :(

It will no doubt come down in an update

There is a handbook or whatever at URL:

but as per usual in the linux world it's info must be taken with a grain of salt. I tried one of it's instructions and found myself just more confused i.e.: The quick start guide said, "Listening to music should be easy. To this end we have provided a First-Run Wizard which presents itself the first time Amarok is run." Not so in my case and can not find how to restart this so called wizard ??
     Hope you fair better.
I still have the same problem as you and still haven't been able to play any sounds yet out of any of my six win/linux boxes !! I'm staying with MS WIN XP until things get better with linux.

You call. I personally think things are better in Linux.

Can you help with this problem?
