whole playlist: double songs

Asked by khymon

I am using Amarok 1.4.5 (KDE 3.5.6) under Kubuntu Feisty. My problem is, that all songs from the collection are doubled, that means every song is displayed twice.

What I did to solve the problem:
- Quit Amarok
- I deleted ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok (the whole directory)
- I deleted ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc
- I deleted all directories in my ipod-backup-directory (/mymusic/ipodbackup) - but not /mymusic/ipodbackup itself
- I copied all directories from my ipod into /mymusic/ipodbackup again
- Restarted Amarok and recreated the collection once again

Result: All files doubled once again. But in any subdir of /mymusic/ipodbackup, all files are present only once. What can I do?

Greets,
Dennis

Problem is solved: Somehow all song directories were copied into one folder once again directly on the ipod, so all songs were present twice on the ipod.
