Amarok plays wav just fine for me. Which Ubuntu version do you use?

Unfortunatly, you aren't able to play DRM-crippled Files in Amarok. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management#Controversy for more information on that topic.

You might noticed that EMI dropped DRM for the iTunes Store. You might want to "upgrade" at least your EMI music.

Another way would need to burn your music on a audio CD and rip it of in Amarok. After that you are free to use your files also with linux.

I am using Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) with Amarok 1.4.3

Amarok plays .WAV files, however I cannot seek and the slider in the bottom right does not move as the .wav file plays. Any ideas on how I could get that working?

Can you help with this problem?
