Internet radio

Asked by Claude

I would like to use Amarok for internet radio listening.Found the radio stations already listed on designated Playlist, but when I click on play arrow, popup informs me it cannot open the URL. This happens on multiple radio stations, so I am reasonably certain it's due to an Amarok setting or a missing plugin. Correction of missing element isn't iincluded in popup, therefore help needed.

Thanks in advance

Claude

Amarok usually brings up this error when it cannot find xine mp3 support.

At a terminal, enter the following:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg.

Then close/open Amarok and it should work.
