player buttons at bottom of main window missing

Asked by Kill Vista

They were there when I first started using it now the only thing there is the mini visualizations area. When I click it, it cycles through the different visualizations but there are no buttons for play, pause, stop, etc...

I uninstalled and reinstalled, changed themes, and reset default settings with no help. Also tried with mini player hidden/displayed. The mini player buttons still work and the icon on the top panel still has all functions. There just aren't the function buttons at the bottom of the main window any more. Please help!

I took some screen shots to show what I am talking about but there is no option to add them to the post. If anyone thinks it will help I can email them to you. This is a great player but this problem is getting really annoying! I just started using Ubuntu and am still learning the ropes and weening myself off of windows.

I figured it out! You have to uncheck "use custom icon themes" in the appearance settings. I guess I didn't have any custom icons for it to display so it showed nothing. And for some reason this setting was saved even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
