Will "What a Goom" work in Amarok?

Is it possible to get Amarok to use the XMMS engine and then show the Goom visualization? Will the Goom visualization work directly in Amarok/XINE? I seem to remember using it in an earlier version of Kubuntu. Now I'm on Kubuntu/Hardy 8.04.
