connecting philips gogear in amarok on ubuntu

I've tried to get my Philips GoGear 6025/02 mp3 player to work in Amarok. Amarok detects it and it lists the mp3 files, but it doesn't allow me to play them.

I keep getting error messages saying

   Error loading Media: could not open file

and

   xine could not find the URL:
   xine parameters:

Anyone have an idea how to solve this? Thanks.

Try adding the files to your collection. Goto Settings->Configure Amarok->Collection and enable your device from the /media folder there.
