how do i play songs from a pendrive

i have my songs loaded on a pendrive. how do i make a playlist and play them in amarok? they also stop playing half way through a song why?

I suggest you copy the files to your computer, as that avoids you accidently removing the pendrive and losing your files. To create a playlist, click the Playlist tab on the leftmost part of the Amarok screen and then click Add from above the Playlists' list. Choose an option and it should be straightforward from there. You can also take a look on the Amarok Handbook from the Help menu.
