No Sound

New to Linux Mint, everything seems to be okay i.e. disk is shown, track is shown, it shows the time remaining on the track, volume is enabled and showing 90%. The sound works in WinXp, but not Linux Mint.

Linux Mint is not an official Ubuntu distribution, but I suspect much of the Ubuntu documentation will work. You might want to take a look at the following page:-
