Problems with translations

I've downloaded the translation package for amarok... What do I need to do now? How could I install this? Sorry, I'm a beginner. Thanks for the help:P

Clicking on it should open an application to install it. If you have internet connection on the PC you want to install it you can also use the applications Synaptic or Adept (search for them in the menu, the former is installed on Ubuntu and the latter on Kubuntu) to download and install the package in one step.

Hi. If I click on the file (that is in .po extension) it will open only the text editor... I've searched through Synaptic but there isn't any translation packages for amarok. If I click on the option "Switch application language" of Amarok I can't change the default setting... I thought that I have to put the file downloaded in a specific directory but I don't know where... Thank you for the assistance. Bye

Where did you get the .po file from? Ah, anyway...

Search for language-pack-kde-$LANGUAGECODE in Synapitc (e.g. language-pack-kde-fr for french).
