cannot remove reinhardt context browser style from amarok

Asked by erykmv

there is a lock on the reinhardt themes that im guessing came with Ubuntu hardy heron because i did not download it from anywhere. I installed it in the context browser style in amarok just to see what it looked like and now i cannot get it to go away no matter what i do. i have tried installing over it. no dice. i have tried reinstalling amarok, its still there. i even uninstalled amarok and all of its components , then reinstalled them, and the damn theme is still there. Its hideous to boot! i know it might be silly, its just a media player skin, but i MUST get rid of it or i'll go completely insane.
I am totally new to Ubuntu and Linux in general, and am not the most computer savvy person alive either, so learning how everything works is an uphill battle, but i'm rather enjoying it. but this theme has got to go. surely someone must know how to nix it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Reinhardt is part of the default Amarok theme set. This is the reason you can't remove it (or rather, you technically can remove it but it will reappear with every Amarok update).

Can you help with this problem?
