I Cant see my amarok

Asked by milk22

When I open Amarok all i get is a toolbar at the top, which can only been seen when you mouse goes over the spot, and there is no actual player to be seen. it will play the music but the player that first worked cant be seen or accessed. I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 and it worked well then i opened it up the next day it just wont work right.

I am really stuck please give me a hand, thanks

God Bless

Double-click on the icon in the notification area.

Thanks but that only solves half the problem. when i click on the shortcut i get the "body" of the player but the menu bar is still causing havoc. The menu bar is somehow fixed at the top of the screen, and although i get the "body" of the player the menu bar is fixed to the top of the screen.

I'm sorry I don't entirely get what it looks like.

Can you make a screenshot available, maybe?

Thank you for your help but i figured it out. I had clicked something deep in my options, and anyway i checked a box that said i wanted to enable a "MaxOS" feel to the tool bar. So i simply undid that and i am as good as new. except now my firefox is crashing but is a problem for another day

God Bless, and Thanks
