amarok package

Can't retreive covers, submit to last.fm or view wikipedia pages. But can retrieve lyrics.

After installing then uninstalling Amarok 2, I can no longer submit tracks to last.fm, retrieve covers, download podcasts or view any wikipedia pages in Amarok 1.4.9.1. It may be just a coincidence, but I've never had these problems before. And I can't find anything close to my problem on the forums. It seems odd that I am still able to download lyrics.

Try looking under tools, Script Manager and see if everything is enabled. Did it keep your last.fm settings? make sure they are still there under settings, configure amarok, last.fm

I've checked all settings, double checked my password and everything is
correct. I've been using KDE4 and just now realized that when I use any
other KDE 3 programs that access the internet--such as konqueror--they
also seem to be having the same problem. So this is obviously not an
Amarok problem and must be a setting in KDE 3 that I somehow messed up.
I really appreciate your response and I guess I'll have to submit my
problem under a different topic, though I'm not certain what.

How about "Some KDE3 applications can't connect to the net since KDE4 update"?
--> wish I could give a solution right away, but my recent Desktop usage is limited to gnome/xfce.
